Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing a Sikh Wedding at the National Motorcycle Museum. Previously, Sanj & Sat (Bride & Groom) asked me to photograph their ‘Pre Wedding’ Shoot in Venice. I managed to execute some awesome images and was then commissioned to photograph their Sikh Wedding. As a Sikh myself I love photographing Sikh Weddings as there are many ceremonies throughout the day and the reception parties are always awesome – this Wedding was no exception! The décor at the National Motorcycle Museum was a ‘Vintage’ theme and the bride Sanj (Excellency Events) did a spectacular job. When Sanj first told me about the ‘Vintage’ theme, I wasn’t sure what to expect, however when I arrived at the venue there were so many details that it blew me away! I knew this would be a reception party to remember. I was greatly honoured that Sanj & Sat invested in Didar Virdi Photography to capture their special day. Sanj is very creative and this really showed in her ‘Vintage’ theme that you would be able to see in this blog. Along side the amazing décor, Fiver River’s in Birmingham were the catering company who always deliver fantastic food. Kikli Roadshow put on an amazing show and really got the crowd ‘jumping around’ were I managed to capture some awesome images. Please feel free to look through Sanj & Sat’s beautiful Sikh Wedding and do not hesitate to comment or share.
